Athletics in the Park - 18:30 Friday 4 September 2026 

It’s back by popular demand. An evening of fun athletics with friends. There’ll be running races, foam javelin, plastic shot put, relays and those 1 foot hurdles will be back. Friends and family welcome.

Bearbrook 10K Handicap Road Race - 09:00 Sunday 13 September 2026 

This is a free member's event. For those of you not aware of the format, the 10K handicap is NOT like a standard race. Everyone starts based on their predicted finish time at 10:15am. So, if your predicted time is 1 hour, then you will start at 9:15am, 45 minute predicted runners start at 9:30am and so on. Runners will be given their start time when they collect their number before the race begins.

The route is the same as last year. We will meet in the Chiltern View Nursery car park; the race start will be opposite the Chiltern View entrance on the Wendover Road. Don't forget to bring some money for breakfast or just a tea/coffee afterwards in the café at Chiltern View. We hope you can stay a while and join us.

There are six prizes up for grabs for this race at the Annual Awards night.
Fastest Male, Fastest Female, Male Handicap Winner & Runner Up, Female Handicap Winner & Runner Up.

If you are unable to race, I can use a some volunteers; one to help with the time keeping and a couple of marshals along the Halton Airfield lane.

Bearbrook Christmas Party - Saturday 5 December 2026 

Bradmoor Farm Sports Bar, Haddenham 7.30pm to 11.30pm

Pool, darts, shuffleboard, drinks… and almost certainly some questionable competitive behaviour.
