Recovery Runners Community Walk/Run Invitational - 9am Sunday 27 September 2026 

We have been invited by local running group Recovery Runners to join them for a community walk or run.

Meet at Jansel Square, Bedgrove

There will be a 5k run or a 2.5 mile walk. Starting at Costa Bedgrove then meeting back there around 10am for refreshments. The Mayor is going to start it off and Bucks Radio will be attending too.

You can let us know you're coming by marking yourself and "going" on the Facebook event or by letting Rob Palmer know.

Chiltern League XC - Saturday 10 October 2026 

Chiltern league is a series of five FREE off-road cross country races where Bearbrook compete against other clubs from around the local area. The more members we have racing the more points we stand to get and / or take away from other clubs. Whether you consider yourself speedy or not doesn’t matter because every competitor counts!

t’s a league, so every single race you do will count towards the club’s total and where we place in the year. It’s competitive, but also a great team event and a lot of fun.

Ladies run about 5-6km and men 8-10km in two separate races. There are also kids’ races from 11 years old upwards. For more information about the races, including the start times, please take a look at Fixtures information for Chiltern Cross Country League.

Nearer to each race we'll arrange car sharing, so if you want we can travel to the races together.

We need as many people as possible to help us score points - at least 8 men and 5 ladies. Please speak to Simon, James, Rob or Lynn or anyone who’s been at the club a while to find out what it’s like. If it’s your first race of the season we’ll give you a race number when you arrive that you’ll keep for all the remaining Chiltern League races in the series.

This is a race we organise to help fund the running of the club.

Bearbrook Christmas Party - Saturday 5 December 2026 

Bradmoor Farm Sports Bar, Haddenham 7.30pm to 11.30pm

Pool, darts, shuffleboard, drinks… and almost certainly some questionable competitive behaviour.
