Training Details

Club led run. Meet outside the front of Buckingham Park Community Centre (HP19 9DZ) at 6.30pm.

The run is intervals based (sections of faster running with rests between) and will be flat tarmac footpaths.

10 min warm up

Workout - 2 x 8 mins (2 mins recovery), 2 x 4 mins (90 secs recovery), 2 x 2 mins (1 min recovery) starting at threshold pace (1hr race pace) and aiming to run quicker as the efforts get shorter,

10 min cool down.

In our interval workouts we use out n backs or small loops. This lets people run at their own pace, while still keeping everyone close together and creates an inclusive atmosphere of everyone working as one group.
