Training Details
Meet at Jansel Square car park, Bedgrove (HP21 7ES) at 7pm or you can meet us at the slip roads at the Wendover Road / Camborne Avenue junction by the white gate at about 7.10pm, already warmed up.
The run is intervals based (sections of running with rests between) and will be flat on tarmac paths.
It's hot, the recoveries are longer than normal, but please bring a drink.
10 min warm up
Option 1
Up to 12 x 300m to 400m @ goal 5k pace with reps starting every 3 or 3.5 mins
Option 2
Up to 16 x 300m to 400m @ threshold pace (1hr race pace) with reps starting every 2.5 or 3 mins
10 min cool down
In our interval workouts we use out n backs or small loops. This lets people run at their own pace, while still keeping everyone close together and creates an inclusive atmosphere of everyone working as one group.
