Training Details
Club led run. Meet at Watermead car park (HP19 0FX) at 6.30pm.
Option to stay for a drink afterwards.
The run is intervals based (sections of faster running with rests between) and will be tarmac footpaths with some gentle hills.
10 min warm up
Workout
3 x 12 mins @ slightly slower than threshold (1hr race pace) with 3 mins recovery
Or
5 x 6 mins @ slightly slower than threshold (1hr race pace) with 90 secs recovery
10 min cool down.
In our interval workouts we use out n backs or small loops. This lets people run at their own pace, while still keeping everyone close together and creates an inclusive atmosphere of everyone working as one group.
