Training Details
Club led run. Meet at the outside the front of Buckingham Park Community Centre (HP19 9DZ) at 7pm.
The run is intervals based (sections of running with rests between) and will be on flat tarmac paths.
10 min warm up
Option 1
Up to 8 x 600m - 900m mins @ 5k pace with reps starting every 5 mins
Option 2
Up to 4 x 8 mins @ goal half marathon pace with 2 mins static recovery
10 min cool down
In our interval workouts we use out n backs or small loops. This lets people run at their own pace, while still keeping everyone close together and creates an inclusive atmosphere of everyone working as one group.
