These sessions are suitable for all. The aim is to run a bit faster than you would on a continuous loop run, but not as fast as on the Tuesday night efforts sessions. These sessions are great if you want to get a bit faster.
Warm up (10 ish minute easy run as a group)
Up to 10 x 2 mins @ tempo pace (1 hour race pace) followed by a 30 second hill as fast as you can.
You don't have to do all 10, do as many as works for you.
Walk back down the hill to recover.
Cool down (10 ish minute easy run as a group)
The hills and tempo will be done as out n backs, so the faster runners will go further on the way out and we’ll all come back together on the way back.
