Meet outside the front of Stoke Mandeville Stadium (HP21 9PP) at 6.30pm or on the track if you’re running late.

A few members have been asking if we can do some more group track sessions, like a few years ago. If there's enough interest we'll try and hold one, once a month on a Friday instead of the normal road intervals session. We can use the track on a pay as you go basis during daylight hours, so they may not continue through the Winter, watch out for more on that.

Please note an extra cost of £5.05 needs to be paid at Stoke Mandeville Stadium reception on arrival to use the track. If you have a Stoke Mandeville Stadium membership, use of the track may be part of it, you’ll need to check.

Workout - 10 min warm up, 4 x 600m to1000m @ threshold (1hr race pace) (75 secs rec), followed by 3 x 250m, 300m or 400m @ 5k pace (90 secs rec) and 3 x 150m or 200m @ quicker than 5k pace (1 min rec), 10 min cool down.

In our interval workouts we use out n backs or small loops. This lets people run at their own pace, while still keeping everyone close together and creates an inclusive atmosphere of everyone working as one group.
